We proudly partner with Jay Moore of The Authentic Equestrian, whose lesson program brings the perfect mix of experience, encouragement, and down-to-earth instruction right here to Marigold. Jay welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels, offering both private and group lessons that are tailored to your individual journey in the saddle.
No horse? No problem. We provide reliable lesson horses, quality equipment, and a peaceful farm setting that makes learning a joy. All you need are riding boots and a signed liability form—we’ll take care of the rest.

Ready to ride? Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your skills, riding lessons at Marigold Equestrian Center with Jess are designed to create confident, capable riders from the ground up.
Jess serves as the Barn Manager and Trainer at Marigold, leading a hunter/jumper program focused on true horsemanship. Her approach goes beyond simply teaching lessons—she helps riders develop correct fundamentals, confidence in the saddle, and a clear understanding of how to ride and care for their horses.
Lessons emphasize flatwork, balance, position, and effective aids, ensuring each rider builds a strong foundation before progressing. Jess works with both children and adult amateurs, creating a supportive, structured environment where riders gain independence, accountability, and long-term confidence.
With a lifelong background in hands-on horsemanship and professional barn management, Jess brings depth, experience, and a steady, encouraging teaching style to every lesson.
